DEB: "Having our ceremony in our 12th year together symbolised so much for
me as it was a connection with my parents who are constantly in my memories.
We wanted to share our love, happiness and deep commitment for each other
in a special place with family and close friends who respect and appreciate
everything we stand for. It made me feel so proud to be part of Jen's life as she
is the woman of my dreams and also holds the key to my heart. Everything
was perfect from our personal trainer giving us both away, to Melissa (our
wonderful celebrant) singing from her heart and soul, to the emotions felt from
our family and friends ... My fairytale commitment ceremony became a reality
and one that I will cherish and remember forever."
JEN: "I treasure every moment with Deb and she still makes me weak at the
knees! I am very privileged and lucky to have found my soul sista, and to make
a commitment in front of family and friends on our special day meant
everything to me. My family wouldn't have missed it for anything and I love
them all so much for their support. When Deb and myself made the decision to
start down the commitment ceremony path, we felt only positive vibes from
every single person involved in pulling our dream together. Salamander Shores
were honoured we chose them as our venue to host their first "gay wedding"
and went above and beyond to ensure the day went very smoothly."
