MMM ... MELBOURNE
Forget the chill of the outside world by raising your
temperature to a lustful sizzle. The ALSO Foundation proudly
presents MOIST -- a Women Only pool party and sauna night.
MOIST is a unique night for women to meet and have fun
away from the club scene. The atmosphere is warm,
welcoming and relaxing. The venue features a heated 25-meter
indoor pool, spa, saunas, and bar. Dress code is informal,
ranging from swim suits, shorts, or nude. So, leave the flanny
jammies at home and join the ALSO volunteers, and the
women from D.VICE for a fun and informative evening on the
steamier side of life. MOIST is on July 5, and the first Monday
of every month from 7pm onwards at Wet on Wellington,
162 Wellington St in Collingwood, Melbourne. For more info

BRISBANE CONTRIBUTOR WANTED
We are looking for contacts to broaden LOTL's Brisbane content, including calendar entries,
scene out photos, community contacts, editorial and advertising. If you have experience in
any of the above please contact us via email at email@example.com or call (02) 8347 1033.
So, your credit card's maxed out, but your girlfriend's isn't?
If all that walking and visual exertion has made you hungry again,
drop in on the Docklands, a splendid waterside location for a spot
of lunch. Mecca Bah (www.meccabah.com.au) ser ves a sparkling
view along with its sumptuous middle-eastern fare. We were
smacking our lips over the deep fried mussels, lamb with
preser ved lemon, green olive and harissa, and flathead fillets
wrapped in vine leaves and chargrilled.
After dark pleasures are a vital part of this city, and the local
girl scene is well worth checking out. The Glasshouse Hotel is
Melbourne's long time lesbian favourite with pool, dancefloor,
lounge bar and karaoke. The Star Hotelis a friendly pub with
everything from bootscooting to drag kings. And the Prince of
Wales Hotel is home to Girl Bar, Melbourne's hottest monthly
lesbian party. My Melbourne gal pals are currently raving about
other assorted nights, such as Moist, a steamy sauna sexcapade,
and the diverse and chilled-out Q&A. What's on and when
depends on your timing, so pick up copies of the queer press
Bnews, MCV, or Melbourne Star, available at various city outlets.
Night falls quickly in wintry Melbourne, but that's a good
thing if you've got your party pants on, or if you just want
to cuddle, tucked away in a cosy spot you have just discovered.
It really is like the ad. You'll never want to leave.
