smash-hit modern cabaret burlesque experience,
An Evening with Miss Polly R ae. It’s a sublime
and sensuous cocktail of Burlesque, Cabaret, Pop
and Comedy - f ull of cheeky, playful themes and
incredible musical arrangements.
Ultimate mistresses of the burlesque, Miss Polly
Rae and her Hurly Burly Girlys have set a new
standard in performance with a spectacular and
cleverly sensuous show.
Miss Polly Rae is a stand-out in the burlesque
arena as she sings live during her performances . Her
breathy, sexual ly charg ed deliver y on revamped
favourites by the likes of Madonna, the Pet Shop
Boys, Rhianna and Michael Jackson, will be
matched by sumptuous, delicately choreographed
routines, featuring her six beautiful Girlys all
singing live - an exceptional marriage of vocal
talent and burlesque art.
Created by burlesque artiste supreme, Miss
Polly Rae, Miss Polly Rae and the Hurly Burly
Girlys started life on the cabaret circuit of
London’s glittering West End and salubrious Soho
- the long -time home of London’s cabaret scene.
The Girlys were reg ular fixtures at the infamous
Soho Revue Bar (formally Raymond Revue Bar).
So popular was the troupe and its inimitable
brand of burlesque comedy and striptease that this
eng agement became a residency.
In 2007, the Hurly Burly Girlys were awarded
Best Troupe at the Ministry Of Burlesque Awards
leading to many TV and public appearances.
Following this, the show reached staggering
new heights with the intro duction of a world
class creative team brought together by Director
William Baker who is most widely known for his
creative work with Kylie Minog ue.
The Hurly Burly Show opened at the Leicester
Square Theatre and was met with more acclaim. In
a London first, the show played a further 8 weeks
at the highly lauded Garrick Theatre in the West
End and again wowed audiences and critics alike.

Burly Girlys has been deftly crafted for this extra
special, intimate presentation at Sydney’s Factor y
Theatre and is an all singing , a ll dancing burlesque
inspired revue with a contemporar y twist,
magically fusing the traditions of burlesque and
bawdy cabaret with mo dern day fashion, music
and popular culture. With spectacular costumes,
the beautiful Miss Polly Rae and the Hurly Burly
Girlys elegantly focuses on the tease and takes
audiences on a unique, provo cative journey full of
wit and joie de vivre.
