Sydney Food & Wine Fair
Foodies should make their way to Sydney’s
Hyde Park on October 29 when the Crave
Food Festival wraps up with a spectacular
food and wine fair in support of the AIDS Trust
of Australia. Fantastic restaurants such as
Jimmy Liks, Guillame, Longrain and more, will
be offering up tasty morsels with 100 percent
of the proceeds going to the charity. Eat great
nosh and feel good about doing something for
our community at the same time.

Live at the Bank
Wednesday nights at the Bank have become an
institution of the Sydney girl scene. From this month,
the venue has decided to up the ante by presenting
a live music showcase every third Wednesday of
the month. Festivities will kick off with resident DJ
Pawnography heating things up, followed by one hour
of live music. After the band, DJ Cunningpants, the
lovely lady behind Girl Thing and Snatch and Grab will
keep the party going until the early morning. The first
evening kicks off on Sept 21 with Maxine Kauter Band
providing the grooves. Entry is free.

Sydney Cruelty Free
On Sunday October 30 the sixth annual Sydney
Cruelty Free Festival will be held at Belmore Park.
It is a celebration of our furry friends and an
opportunity to hear how making small and simple
changes to one’s lifestyle can help reduce the
suffering of animals.
Headlining the Festival is the talented folk / indie
musician Diana Anaid. Festivities kick off at 10am
and conclude at 5pm – why not make a day of it
with your furry friends?
