Mary Griggs, in her debut novel has created an incredibly passionate
romance by uniting a lost soul and a determined survivor. Not many
strangers enter Sallie Lee Hybart’s small town diner but this one stran-
ger looks all too familiar. Janet Bouton has nothing and no one except
the clothes on her back. Counting out her meagre change to pay for her
meal, she is hoping to escape the diner unrecognised. An act of kindness
pulls Sallie and Janet together whilst the past has the power to tear them
apart. Small town memories have had a lot of time to simmer and Janet
is remembered all too well.

For those lesbians into erotic fiction this is the book for you. What Jude
Jaeger seeks is simple, but what she needs is complicated. She spends one
night, sometimes two, at Conquest, a place where she can give women
what no one else can or will. Pleasure. But women don’t interest her out-
side of the club, preferring to keep them at arm’s length until she meets
Mary, a woman who responds to her touch like no other. Mary soon sets
forth on her own conquest, but can she tame the ultimate dominatrix?
