Aussie Actress Portia de Rossi has revealed how the
"shame" of being a lesbian caused her weight to drop to
as low as 40kg. The actress recently spoke out about her
struggle with her sexual identity and revealed "It took a long,
long time for me to think I had a problem. I was around 90
pounds and I remember feeling very afraid of food every
night. I didn't want to walk past pizza restaurants because
that would make me remember what it was like to eat pizza,
and I was truly afraid that I was going to be overcome with the
urge to binge and that if I started bingeing then I just wouldn't
stop." The former Ally McBeal star also explained how she
was "terri ed" about coming out as a lesbian after meeting
and falling in love with Ellen Degeneres. She said: "I had such
a long way to go before I could even be seen in public with a
woman, much less be seen in public with that one." The pair
married in August 2008.
Christina's gay romp
An LA woman reportedly claims Christina Aguilera had an
open marriage and the singer frequently approached other
women at gay bars in Los Angeles. The woman, who chose to
remain anonymous, says she was approached by Christina's
bodyguard at LA gay hotspot The Abbey one night. The
bodyguard walked up to her and said, "My boss would really
like you." He pointed to Christina who was with her husband
Jordan Bratman; Christina waved back to the woman. "The
bodyguard told me it was an understanding within their
marriage and that she brings girls home and Jordan's okay
with it," the woman told Radar Online. "I met Christina in the
bathroom and she told me she liked to play with girls," she
added. The woman says she didn't pursue the affair. She also
claims a couple of her girlfriends were similarly approached.
Chat show host Oprah Winfrey recently laughed
o the rumours she is involved in a lesbian re-
lationship with her best friend Gayle King in a
newly released video from a camping trip the pair
took. In one scene, the women hop into bed a er
enjoying an evening toasting marshmallows with
their camp neigbours. 'Do you want to go in rst?'
asked Oprah, nodding to their modest tent quar-
ters. 'Let's just add to that lesbian rumour, come on
in baby!' replied King, 55, who edits Oprah's 'O'
magazine. Spreading out her arms, the American
TV billionaire giggled: 'Lesbian rumours!'
"My kids have always been
very understanding but it was
their friends and their friends'
parents that weren't very ac-
cepting. My kids have suffered
a great deal because I was with
Mel, and that bothered me a
lot, and so I never chose to talk
about it." --- Recently married

kept her sexuality a secret. Friends with bene ts
A friend of Jenn er Aniston's has reportedly claimed that
the actress could ruin her career by appearing topless and
performing a lesbian sex scene in her next lm. Aniston is due
to start lming scenes for the movie Wanderlust in autumn
which she apparently hopes will revamp her image. Although
Jennifer still has the body to pull off a revealing scene on lm,
there's a big chance it could back re on her. She's known
for doing sweet romantic comedies. Apparently Jen and Paul
Rudd play a married couple who leave Manhattan and move
to Atlanta, but end up being seduced into a hippie commune.
It's rumoured her character rips off her top to protest the
building of a discount department store, hops into bed with
the male population of the commune, smokes pot and in the
raciest scene, has three-way sex with two other women ...
and one of them is pregnant!
Keira to play gay
Rumours are rife that Keira
Knightley will make her West
End debut as a sexy suspected
lesbian in Lillian Hellman's The
Children's Hour. Details are still
being worked out, but the plan
is to open the show in London
early next year and then, if it's
successful, take it to Broadway
next winter. Written in 1934,
it's set in a girls' boarding school and tells the story of two
female teachers whose lives are destroyed when one of their
students spreads the rumor that they're lovers. The play was
banned in Boston but opened in Paris to sensational reviews.
There's no word yet on who will play Keira's female lover.
