Just in time for Christmas, Queer Screen
presents a special retrospective screening of
the hilarious romantic comedy The Incredibly
True Adventures of Two Girls in Love on the
big screen. Don’t miss this chance to see a
10-years-younger Laurel Holloman (now Tina
on The L Word, pictured) as Randy, a totally
adorable and rebellious 17-year-old baby-
dyke living in an all-lesbian household and
pumping gas to get by. While the other girls
are worrying about the prom, Randy’s having
a mad affair with a blowsy housewife. That
is, until popular and pampered fellow student
Evie asks Randy to put air in her tyres…
this film gives us the chance to relive the
whimsical awkwardness of a first infatuation.

BIG FAT GREEK CHRISTMAS PARTY
The girls from Greek Lesbian Open House are having their first ever Christmas party
on Saturday December 17 from 7.30pm at the Newtown Library Community Hall
above the Women’s Library 8-10 Brown Street, Newtown. The night promises to be
a Greek-Australian fusion of merriment: a Greek feast, Greek dancing and Greeks
bearing gifts! Lucky door prizes for best Christmassy outfits and lots more fun.
Admission $20. BYO. Reservations essential by December 2 as seating is limited.
