VARIETY OF SWEATY PURSUITS FOR
THE LESBIAN SPORTY SPICE.
BY KYLIE COCHRANE.

think about sport. Unofficially, there's the
traditional bird watching (commonly known
as eye candy) and the ever popular seasonal
mattress events. Officially, your sporting
options for Mardi Gras 2005 are as follow...
Fancy gals in short skirts? Hosted by Surry

Find out new ways to use those bats and
balls - this is hockey with a difference! Join
Sydney's Gay and Lesbian Hockey Club for
their 10th Annual Bentstix Field Hockey
tournament, a social, mixed team
tournament with modified hockey rules. You
don't need to be part of an existing team to

yourself! Register via email
(email@example.com) or on the day.
If pumping the grass appeals to you then
grab your best black frock and head off to
the Frontrunners Little Black Dress Charity
Run. In its fourth year, the cost is only $5
and all money raised goes to Twenty10. The
Frontrunners have also organised a more
serious fun run -- dresses optional! This is a
5 or 10km run or walk at Centennial Park.
All skill levels are welcome. And what better
way to conclude the Mardi Gras season than
with...another run? A 5km run around the
park on the Sunday after the Parade and
Party -- headache tablets supplied!
